Welcome to Sewerby Hall & Gardens
Zoo

Fun for the whole family!

Children of all ages will look forward to visiting the animals in the Sewerby Hall & Gardens Zoo. There are Llama's, Pigs, Rabbits, Guinnea Pigs, Goats, Exotic Birds, Ducks and Monkeys. The highlite of the day is around 3.00pm when it's feeding time for the Penguins.

The Zoo runs a very successful breeding program and during the last 12 months they have reared a Llama which the children called 'Pebbles', a Pengiun which is called Pokemon! and a baby Wallabey. The staff also interact with other Zoo's to encourage breeding of these beautiful creatures.

There are Shetland Ponies, Sheep, Deer and Wallabeys around the grounds. The park is also alive with hundreds of wild animals and birds including Squirels, Chaffinches, Blue Tits, Robins and Doves.

The Zoo is open every day throughout the year and only closes for Christmas Day. During the Peak Season admittance to the Zoo is included in the entrance fee to the Grounds. At all other times of the year the Zoo costs 50 pence per person.
