Bridlington's - North Shore

North Beach with Sewerby in the distance

Bridlington's North Beach is only 1/2 mile from Sewerby. Access to the beach is along the cliff top and then down the ramp, at Lime Kiln Lane onto the beach. This beach stretches from Sewerby Steps (when the tide is out) right up to the north harbour wall.

Directly behind the beach is the bustling town centre with hundreds of cafes, amusement arcades and most high street shops. During the summer numerous attractions take place along the promenade with local artists displaying their work.

As with the South Beach, ramps are provided to help disabled persons get onto the beach. There are also deck chairs & wind breakers for hire, donkey rides for the children and the land train runs from the Leisure World complex, behind the beach, up to Sewerby Hall. You must however change at Lime Kiln Lane.
