Race For Life
Sewerby Hall was once again the focal point in this years - Race for Life.

Nearly 2,300 women, aged from 6 to 66, gathered at Sewerby Hall and helped raise thousands of pounds for Cancer Research UK.

The runners were cheered on by thousands more family, friends and well-wishers.

Classic Car Rally
Once again Sewerby hosted one of the best vintage car, truck & bus rallies in it's history. The event run by the East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club, said: "It was one of the best attended both from the visitor and exhibitor point of view and a great success."

Greg Knight (MP) & his wife Janet, were present showing off their immaculate 1972 Jensen Interceptor Coupe. Mr Knight then went on to present 15 prizes to the class winners which included the "Best in Show", which this year went to a single-deck AEC Reliance C41C Plaxton Embassy Bus built in 1961 and exhibited by George Atkin of Lincolnshire.
