Cycling from Sewerby

Route 1 - Sewerby, Bempton, Flamborough, Sewerby. (7.5 miles)

From outside Sewerby Hall, head up Church Lane until you come to the T junction (0.5 mile). Bare right and cycle 100 yards and turn left onto Jewison Lane. After 1 mile follow the road round to the right and up the hill to the old windmill (0.4 mile).

Down the other side of the hill, across the railway line and into Bempton village. Once you reach the Duck Pond (0.4 mile) you need to take the small lane directly in front of you (signposted to Flamborough).

At the end of this lane turn right towards Flamborough (or call into the White Horse for a breather). Cycle down the road for approx 2.5 miles and you will enter the village of Flamborough.

As you enter the village you may take the 2nd junction on the left that will take you down to the North Landing (1.3 mile) or you may continue down the lane to another T junction where you will turn right and cycle up the hill out of Flamborough.

About 1/2 mile out of Flamborough you come to Danes Dyke. From here continue on past the Links Golf Club (0.5 mile) and back onto Church Lane (0.5 mile) and back into Sewerby Village (0.5 mile).
