Sewerby Village Against Development!
The East Riding of Yorkshire Council want to spoil our beautiful village by building houses on the farmland between the railway line and Charity Farm Caravan Park. See a copy of the proposed development plan here* and then "Sign our petition" to stop the Council destroying the beauty and tranquility of Sewerby. Click Here to sign our petition. The East Riding of Yorkshire Council's site has more details here.
Sewerby.com are pleased to announce the listing of Park View Holiday Cottage. Situated right in the heart of the village, Park View is an ideal place to spend your holidays. Click here for more information.
Sewerby Village Parking.
Please be aware that a lot of houses in Sewerby do not have off the road parking and therefore residents need to be able to park their cars outside of their homes. Could we please ask you to respect this and either park in Sewerby Hall (which is free of charge) or park in the cliff top car park. Please do not use the old bus pull in opposite the park entrance or park on Sewerby Park Close. Thank you and enjoy your visit to Sewerby.
